‘bit ridiculous that the case of Janet Jackson’s televised boobie(s) is actually going to court…
but it does raise issues of censorship, free speech, government control and the few remaining rights of artists….want more proof of the out-of-wack censorship police…??
look at poor Sally here …for saying, ” “if the mothers ruled the world, there would be no G-d- wars in the first place.”
‘can’t really blame Fox for this one…they fear being made accoutable so, they become ths ‘ uber sensitive censorship police…but, shit…don’t we live in some ’stupid times when you can’t say: God dammit…

That was a really dumb stunt that Janet pulled with her “wardrobe malfunction” back in early 2004! I don’t believe for a second that she didn’t plan that, though I do believe that Justin wasn’t aware of her “wired bra” (no pun intended). All that being said, I don’t know what the big deal was. In other countries they have nudity on their regular television channels. Who gives a flying fuck about Janet’s tit? The way the media, the FCC and the right wingers made it out, she might as well have sucked little Justin off on stage in front of everyone.
What the FCC and the courts are really trying to say is that the female body is bad, breasts are bad and women should be covered up and if they are not they are dirty whores. If it had been 50 Cent prancing around on stage with his shirt off not a thing would have been said about it (not that I would have minded seeing that!). That would just make him appear to be more masculine and “hardcore”, unlike Janet, who with a flip of just one tit gets the slut of the year award. It’s funny how our society makes these ridiculous distinctions. Additionally, now since Janet pulled that stunt, which was ironically right before her album came out, everything gets censored! The time delay on live shows is so long that we will never get a spontaneous act caught in our living rooms ever again.
America has finally got the Disney World that it want to live in, and all this is over a single breast. Maybe we should start making women wear burkas for this heineous act of debauchery. I must admit though that moment in time has really provided me with endless entertainment, and that was over three years ago. It also really goes to show that censorship is alive and well in the United States and the country that people refer to as “the land of the free isn’t really free at all”. No nobody can say or do anything without the scrutiny of the media, the FCC and the courts getting involved up to their hip boots in this bullshit.
