Naming Names

“How did you get started working as a Porn Director?” — Is the number question when people meet me in person (’clocked in 10 times alone the question came up this weekend).  Here’s the short answer:  I went to film school and thought it would be fun to watch people fuck…and I thought I could improve on the videos being produced at the time…the first film was originally called: “Go For Yours!”  (I still have an original copy of the working script) in the archives. 

That first title ended up being reworked as “Learning Latin” by the smart marketing boyz @ Vivid — who also offered me a five picutre deal to work under their new line: Vivid Raw. 

After that deal, and decent in store sales, Vivid and I parted ways and I started my own line (with a lot of help from other friends)…under my own name: Enrique Cruz Presents….along with that journey I was one of the first sites to have original content for an adult web site…here’s a short slide-show down web-memory lane that screened a club:
